Hip escape

The ebi is done in almost every BJJ warm-up.

You may know the movement by another name, such as:
– Shrimp
- Shrimp
– Hip escape
– Hipscape

In all cases it is the same movement. We use this move to escape from bad positions, such as mount or side control.
