Introduction COURSE

In this course you will learn the main positions, ideas and concepts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

the best way to start bjj

It can be intimidating to get started with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
When you finally visit a gym, you are thrown in at the deep end without guidance.
You have to train with people who are much more experienced than you.
You don't understand the techniques that the coach explains.

This is the experience of many people starting BJJ.

Our unique Introductory Course aims to change that experience. In two weeks we teach you the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a small group.

You work together with other beginners and the lesson is tailored to people without any experience in the sport.

This way you can start BJJ in a safe and effective way.

After you complete this course you will be able to take any beginners class around the world and have a good idea of what the instructor is talking about

harbor bjj

This course was developed by Haven BJJ instructors who have been teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to beginners for years. Through our group classes, private lessons and courses, our instructors have taught hundreds of beginners the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Many of them still practice the sport on a daily basis.

Lars

“Before the Introductory Course, I noticed that I didn't understand the basics and the ideas behind the moves. Now I understand the ideas behind the movements much better. I can now hold my own longer against better training partners. I liked that there was a lot of time and space for asking questions during the course”

rose
