Our regular memberships start at 73 euros per four weeks. If you are a student or under 18 years old, we offer a discount of 10 euros per month.
Yes, it is more expensive than your local fitness chain. If you want to lose some weight or get bigger biceps, that might be a good option. But if you want to work in a clean and friendly environment with like-minded people to improve yourself mentally and physically, increase your self-confidence, and learn skills that can literally save your life and the lives of your loved ones, then Haven BJJ may be the better choice.
No, we only offer unlimited memberships. We have chosen to encourage our members to train as much as possible. Jiu-jitsu is a complex sport where training extensively is the only secret to improvement. If that doesn’t work for you, there is the option to pay per class or get a 10-class card.
You can easily cancel by sending us an email. Our monthly memberships have a 1-month notice period and there are no additional costs associated with cancellation. For yearly memberships, you can cancel monthly after the first year.
When you start, there is no pressure for you to spar. We want you to first understand the fundamental concepts and positions of BJJ before applying them in practice.
When you and the coaches feel that you are ready to spar, we will gradually introduce sparring rounds into your training sessions.
Our mission is to provide a safe environment for anyone who wants to learn jiu-jitsu. It doesn’t matter if you have any prior experience in martial arts, many of our members had no martial arts experience when they started.
For people without any grappling experience, we have created our introductory course.
The best way to get fit for jiu-jitsu is by training jiu-jitsu. We tailor our lessons to your experience level and fitness level. This way, we build your fitness while you learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
There’s no substitute for it, not running or weightlifting. Don’t worry about getting fit before you start. By starting, you will get fit.
Yes, at Haven BJJ, we have one of the strongest women’s teams in the Netherlands. Women can participate in every class, and we offer a special women-only class every week.
Certainly. Our athletes compete at the highest level. Our competition fighters are among the world’s best and have earned several major titles (including European and Brazilian champions). As a team, we consistently rank at the top of the SmoothComp rankings as the best team in the Netherlands.

No, we do not have MMA classes on our schedule. We offer world-class grappling classes, and we have a few pro-MMA athletes who train with us to sharpen their grappling skills. However, our focus is on grappling and BJJ. If you want to build a strong grappling foundation for MMA or complement your MMA training with high-level grappling, you are welcome to join us.
